Natron is known for its association with the active volcano, Ol Doinyo Lengai, Lake often referred to as the “Mountain of God” by the Maasai. Ol Doinyo Lengai is located on the eastern shore of Lake Natron and is unique for its carbonatite lava. The mountain offers adventurous hiking opportunities and breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding area.
